We upgraded our MDT server to 2013 to allow the ability to capture/deploy images for our Surface project. In this process we also upgraded to the new ADK 8.1 and removed MAIK from the server. In doing so, we are now unable to kick off litetouch.vbs using winpe 5.1. I am able to configure an IP and map the drive to access litetouch.vbs, but when attempting to run the file we are getting \scripts\litetouch.vbs "No such Interface supported". Upon clicking "OK" we get "Access Denied". I went ahead and granted the account full access to the MDT Deployment share without success. When attempting to run litetouch.vbs from a windows 7 machine needing an image (not via winpe), we also encounter the windows 8 splash screen freeze. Well not technically "freeze" but it will not progress any further as it just spins. To resolve this we are having to use an older mdt bootable usb to get the image to progress.
Being we still deploy windows 7 currently, will we need to have 2 mdt servers 1 being mdt 2012 with aik, and another with mdt 2013 and adk? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
