DISM updates integration

I want to slipstream all updates into Windows 7 SP1 installation (updates released after releasing of SP1 of course) - for both x86 and x64 architecture. Which is the best way to obtain all those updates and sort of speak passes them to dism add-package command? When I was trying to integrate updates into os image via third party tools there was a Windows Update Downloader which downloaded all updates for both x86 and x64 into single folder called Windows Update Downloader with subfolders for Security Updates, Non-Security Updates . . . Afterwards when integrating those updates to windows image, tool was smart enough to integrate only appropriate updates (x86 updates to x86 image and x64 updates to x64 image).

I tried to use these already downloaded updates as input for DISM - I created one folder with all these updates for both architectures but I was very surprised to see DISM adding x64 updates to win x86 image and vice versa. How on Earth it does not know that those can not mix and match. After 110 updates errors were everywhere.

From now on I prefer to use DISM to manipulate with images. Third party tools I have been using until today are user-friendly but very unreliable and very slow. Maybe I am wrong?
