WDS: Can an image captured from a HDD be deployed to a SSD (and still have all the benefits of an SSD...)?

WDS Server is Windows Server 2012.  All captured images are Windows 7 x64 Enterprise.  I'm capturing images from a virtual machine (VMware Workstation) on a HDD and hoping to deploy to SSDs.  Will this cause any issues?  Will certain SSD advantages be disabled?  Are there any steps I need to take to make it work/optimize it?
