I have been working on getting drivers installed on our multiple types of desktops. If I leave all drivers in one group they install but can take almost 2 hours to do so. If I separate all motherboards with their specific drivers I end up with computers missing USB 3.0 and some other drivers. If I add filters I get nothing installed.
I have used the following to gain info for the filters. CPU-Z, wmic computersystem get model, manufacturer, and the same info came from PowerShell and MSinfo32. Why doesn't the filters work? I have spent 4 9 hour days trying all of the following and they simply don't work.
This is what I am trying so far,
Intel based Motherboards ... I have tried multiple variations for Manufacturer --- Intel Corporation, Intel Corp. INTEL_
Intel based Motherboards ... I have tried multiple variations for Model --- DQ57TM, DQ57TM__, DQ67SW, DQ67SW__, DQ77MK, DQ77MK__
Intel based Motherboards ... I have tried this BIOS Vendor --- Intel Corp.
ASUS based Motherboards ... I have tried multiple variations for Manufacturer --- ASUS, ASUSTek COMPUTERS INC.
For the ASUS I haven't tried by Model trying to find them doesn't appear to work correctly. I get ALL MODELS
ASUS based Motherboards ... I have tried multiple variations for BIOS Vendor --- ASUS, American Megatrends Inc.
If someone posts a link to the TechNet page I will snap. There is literally ZERO information provided that would help anyone at all.
If someone can actually help with the information provided it would be greatly appreciated as we have a 150 user rollout in a month and its going to take forever if we have to add drivers manually.
Thanks!
