We use WDS to deploy images to systems that we ship to clients. These systems are not domain joined so WDS seems the appropriate solution and one we've been using for many years.
We have recently updated the image to Windows 10 1909 from an earlier version. The image was captured using Win PE and DISM as we have done for a long time.
I can add the image to WDS, but then WDS stops. Errors in the log point to an issue in generating a catalogue and WDS then fails to start until the image is removed.
This appears to be the same issue as effecting MDT / ADK which Microsoft have fixed with the Windows System Image Manager (WSIM) 1903 update.
This fix isn't applicable to WDS.
The current WDS is running on Server 2016, fully updated. I've tried installing ADK and MDT with the WSIM fix but the error remains. I've built a Server 2019 with WDS and the behaviour is the same.
Any ideas to resolve this are greatly appriciated.
