I wanted to test Windows Server 2012 R2 on VMWare ESXi 5.5 so I downloaded the Windows Server 2012 R2 Evaluation from TechNet (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/evaluate-windows-server-2012-r2) but once I installed the Standard edition of Windows Server I noticed that there was no mention of R2 anywhere in Windows. Furthermore the version number is displayed as 6.2.9200 which, according to Microsoft documentation, refers as Windows Server 2012, not R2. My question is where can I get an ISO to test the R2 version ?
