Hello all!
I have a failed EBS 2008 installation that was started by a third party consultant. I need to clean out all the EBS 2008 information in AD so I can do a clean install. The consultant manually deleted all of the AD objects that were created and the DNS entries
as well. Because of this I cannot install EBS into this Environment. My new job and company have been sitting on this software for well over 2 years. The failed install occurred over a year ago. I just want to remove the changes made by the EBS wizards and
start over. The rest of my AD environment seems to be just fine.
I would like to get this software up and running. I have run the Planning and Server Preparation wizards, but the old information seems to persist in AD. I have corrected everything that was asked of my by these wizards. My only option at this point is to just create a new domain with EBS and migrate everyone over to it. It would be nice to integrate it into my existing domain.
The installation fails at the Join Domain point. It cannot find the computer object for the Management computer because it was deleted over a year ago. I tried to manually create the object and now it is having a DNS issue finding this object. I am at my wits end on this one.
