Server 2008 and NSLOOKUP

I am used to larger networks, but this week built a small single server network.

I have a Sever 2008 R2 (64) as a Domain Controller with 3 Windows 7 (64) desktops:

-         The Server is a 2008 R2 (64) as a Domain Controller

-         In DHCP, my address pool for Distribution is 10.10.1.1 to 10.10.1.254 (Authorized)

-         In DHCP, my Excluded from Distribution is 10.10.1.1 to 10.10.1.90

-         In DHCP, my options are

005 Name Servers 10.10.1.50

006 DNS Servers 10.10.1.50

015 DNS Domain Name MYDOMAIN.COM

044 WINS/NBNS 10.10.1.50

-         DNS is installed

I assigned my DC Server IP 10.10.1.50, SM 255.255.255.0, DNS 10.10.1050, Default Gateway will not take an IP

I have one Desktop in the Domain getting 10.10.1.91 as DHCP

In Event Viewer SYSTEM, I am getting Event 5782, NETLOGON “No DNS Servers Configured for local system”

Running NSLOOKUP from server and desktop does get the address 10.10.1.50, but Default Server Unknown

Pinging the Domain Controller by IP 10.10.1.50 is ok, pinging by name MYDOMAIN.COM come back with ::1 (IPv6) and I do not have IPv6 enabled at the NIC

Any ideas?

Thanks

B.
