Sysprep fault caused by newer updates via Windows Update

Hi everyone

I write here althought I am not sure if it is the right section.

I think I discovered an issue about sysprep. The last two weeks I've been trying to sysprep a few machines.
All went in sysprep error. I followed every article here and whereabouts to find a solution working,  unfortunately none of them seemed to work for me. Uninstalling, reinstalling msdtc, checking rearm counters, checking Keys in regedit etc. did nothing good.

Last successfully sysprep was the 17th of june 2014. In that occasion I installed ALL updates available then.
From there onward, new machines I prepared for sysprepping went in sysprep error. For these new machines I installed ALL updates available as well.

I figured out that the problem is due to a recent update deployed via Windows Update.

I did a check, so I prepared a new machine Yesterday, I installed NOT all the updates, just the ones I installed in the previous machines, and it did work.

So basically I think there's an update deployed from the 17th of June onward which causes sysprep to crash.

I could not figure which update(s) can cause this crash.

Hope this new can help anyone facing the same situation and Microsoft to isolate the problem and fix it.

Best regards

Andrea
