I recently was able to deploy my windows 7 image without issue until the other day. We recently upgraded all servers from 2008 to 2008r2. The image deployed fine without issue after the fact, and did not notice anythign change until we tried to image using the same task sequence and OS image that we had been using for months. Once that happend I attempted to just create a new task sequece to place the OS image and get back to imaging; however that was not the fact and I had to create a whole new WSIM file from scratch (which I should not have to do since MDT does this with the CS.ini file). The image works, for the most part, but when I deploy the image the date and time are all wrong.
I have verified the server time is correct, I synced the vSphere to the DC and neither thing help I still get 12-13 hours ahead of my regular time and about a month away from the real date.
I know most will just say put it in th eCS.ini file and problem will be solved; however I have tried that as well with
SKIPTimeZone=YES
TIMEZONE=20
TIMEZONENAME= CENTRAL STANDARD TIME
I have tried the able many differnet ways an d even tried to change the settign in the unattend.xml file (answer file) but with no change. I know I cannot be the only one out there that has had this problem, and am looking for any help I cna get.
