I have a cloud platform on which we are deploying Windows virtual servers, 2008 and 2012.
I'm working on the 2008 Standard R2 image at the moment.
I was having an issue whereby the EULA was displayed after deploying the sysprepped template.
I added an unattend to resolve this, which is has - thats now all fine, however what isnt fine is the time it takes to deploy windows since adding in this xml file.
Before i could get a windows VM at the logon screen within 60 seconds, albeit with interaction - i had to accept the EULA and click next, before it would go to the logon screen. Since adding in the unattend.xml it takes in excess of 10 minutes while it sits
on the black "preparing your computer for first use" screen. Given that i'm building a self-provisioning cloud platform, deployment speed is fairly important for us.
Is there any way i can wind this back in and bring it down to a more reasonable time? :)
