We are a non-profit and received a used dell PowerEdge 2970. We bought Windows Server 2012 Essentials and I am setting up my first server.
Using the SAS Config utility I have created a Mirror using 2 drives and have installed Server 2012. Before deploying it, even in a limited capacity, I wondered if it's best to manage the RAID array at the machine level, or use the Storage Pool feature in Server 2012.
