Hi,
We are from an organisation of more than 2000 employees. We are migrating our machines from Windows XP to Windows 7.
Out DHCP is configured on an Windows 2003 Sever, WDS is configured on a Windows 2012 Sever. We are re-imaging machines using WDS-MDT.
After reimaging the machine to Windows 7 and joining it to the domain, every time the machine is restarted, we get a 169.x.x.x series IP address which the user will not be able renew it due to access rights and we have to login to admin credentials and renew it.
Please help us with the settings in order to avoid this 169.x.x.x in the first place.
We tried to reconfigure the WDS MDT step by step to avoid any errors that we might be doing setup. But couldnot figure out where is the issue.
Please suggest what might be the cause of this issue in the settings, so that we can eliminate it.
