Ok, i am not familiar with windows 8.
My system is a HP Pavilion, with a AMD Elite Quad Core A8-6500 Accelerated Processor, 8 Gig DDR3 memory and a 2 TB Hard drive.
Currently the system is running windows 8.
I would like to take the machine back to windows server 2008.
I start the setup and the first thing that happens it is unable to check for updates via the internet. Internet works fine I am able to surf and do all that stuff.
After that the insulation fails.
When trying to boot to the CD i get the following:
Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be to cause. To fix this problem:
1. Insert your windows installation disc and restart your computer
2. Choose your language settings, then click next
3. Click repair your computer
If you do not have this disc, contact your system administrator or computer manufacture for assistance
