Issue with WDS and DHCP on different servers

Hello everyone!

I see a lot of topics created already but I could not find a way to solve my problem. So, the question is: I have WDS and DHCP servers installed on two different severs. I successfully set all options to boot from WDS by I have one big trouble: when a host tying to boot from WDS it tries to contact WDS, then loads boot file, then ask to press F12. After I pressed it, the host again tries to contact WDS, then loads boot file, then ask to press F12 and so on up to 5 times. After fifth time it finally boots and offers me to choose what image to load.

What's wrong?

My config of DHCP:

  • Predefined Option 43 - 010400000000FF
  • Predefined Option 66 - IP or Hostname of the WDS Server (in our case 10.150.150.1)
  • Predefined Option 67 - boot\x86\wdsnbp.com (with another file name - it goes to BSOD)

In my WDS both checkboxes are unset.
