Dear all,
I am testing a deplyement using Sysprer of a Windows Server 2008 R2.
For that I have download the WAIK and use the Windows System Image manager to create my unattended answer file. So far so good.
Then as describe in different post I could reade I need to copy that xml file under the SYSPREP folder of my reference machine and rename it as sysprep.xml.
Then next step I need to create the WinPe boot disk. For tha I have run the following command :
Copype.cmd arch destinationWhere arch can be x86, amd64,or ia64 and destination is a path to a local directory, for example, type:
Copype.cmd amd64 C:\WinPE_amd64 ( I use this command as my system is for 64 bits)
By doing so it generate following folders under the WinPe_amd64 :
- fwfiles
- media
- mount
IN different post I read it is refer to a ISO folder but it is not generated.
Did I do something wrong ?
Please not that I am using the WAIK kit for Windows 8. Can it be use for Server 2008 ?
regards
serge
