Hi Guys,
Ive created a captured image from a reference install of win8 64bit. The resulting .wim file is 7gb in size.
I want to deploy this image from a usb drive to target computers, but because of limitations in UEFI these usb drives have to be formatted in FAT32. This means files cannot exceed 4gb in size.
I used imagex to split the 7gb wim image, resulting in several smaller .swm files. Is there a way to import these files into MDT instead of the 7gb captured WIM, so I can successfully deploy to fat32? The 'import operating system' only allows .WIM files.
Would love to hear your thoughts on this.
Thanks!
