Deployment of image

Hi all,

I need some help with windows deployment. Basically we want to setup a server connect to a switch and deploy the image to several laptops locally.

For now we only have the image in a USB stick. This USB has a fat image with all the apps and all the task sequence from a MDT server. Is it possible to use this image in a MDT server?

What do we need to setup the server and if we can use the USB we have or we need the wim file?

Apologies if I'm asking basic questions but it's the first time we will be doing this.
