KMS host/client & keys -- help me understand

I have installed a KMS host key on my windows 2008 r2 server.

I can successfully activate other windows server 2008 r2 servers by changing their product key to the KMSclient key.

-- It was definitively unclear about using the client keys. (anyway)

Now I am trying to test windows 7 VDI environment. I have a volume license key for 15 x windows 7 licenses.

I see the following listed on the FAQ for KMS:

"Windows Vista or Windows 7 you must have at least twenty-five (25) computers to activate. These thresholds can be a mix of server and client machines to make up the threshold number."

Does this mean that I can have 10 x server 2008 r2 activation's and only 15 x windows 7 enterprise?

Also i noticed that when you enter a key into the KMS server it shows only 1 key.

What do I do now that i have activated my KMS host with a windows server 2008 r2 KMS host key.

Do I just redo the same steps with a windows 7 KMS host key?

What about all my other server 2008 r2 KMS license keys (volumes of about 10-15)? Do i need to enter all of them? or will 1 key be ok? I have a few hunderd servers. If I have to enter all of them, how do i keep track of that?

thanks for any feedback.
