I have to begin the task of re-imaging our schools PC and laptops using Windows 10. Last year at this time when i used sysprep after i had made the images with all our settings and software, it seems sysprep broke both the windows activation and office activation. I want to avoid that this year if possible. Is using sysprep the right way to deploy our images? Maybe i selected the wrong option(s) in sysprep last year.....
Here is our general flow: install windows 10 and all software. Make all settings changes and perform windows updates. Run sysprep. Make wim image and stick on the WDS server. PXE boot PC to be imaged. Select image to deploy. When done reboot PC and enter initial setup questions. Why does sysprep break windows and office activations?
