I had this PXE server up and running for two weeks with no issue and not im getting the PXE-E55 error message when I try to load an image on a client machine.
Environment Details:
-DHCP is on a different server than the WDS server.
-Both servers are on the same subnet.
-Confirmed that IP addresses handed to client is on same subnet as servers.
-There is no internal port blocking on our firewalls.
-Windows firewall is disables on server.
-Anti-Virus has been uninstalled.
-Confirmed options 60, 66, and 67 are not enabled on my DHCP server.
-Confirmed DHCP tab options on WDS server are both unchecked.
-WDS set to respond to all clients
Troubleshooting Efforts:
-Service has been restarted and is running.
-Tested different client machines.
-Server has been rebooted.
-Boot image has been recreated.
-Tried to run the "WDSUTIL /Delete-AutoAddDevices /DeviceType:ApprovedDevices" but got an error"0XC1050100 The Pending Devices policy is not enabled on the server".
-Moves all files in Mgmt folder and restarted service.
-Uninstalled Service, rebooted, and reinstalled and reconfigured service from scratch.
I dont know what else to do other than blow this server way and reload everything, but im not even sure if that will help at this point.
Any help is appreciated.
