Hi,
I have a Win Server 2008 DC (SERVER A) which is failing. I quickly install anotherWin Server 2008 (SERVER B) for temporary purpose and promote it to a DC.
However, before i could even transfer the FSMO from SERVER A to SERVER B, SERVER A already crashed and died. So i had to seize FSMO roles to SERVER B in which everything goes on fine.
I then bought a new server (SERVER C), a Windows Server 2012 r2 to make it as my DC permanently. I first joined SERVER C to the domain then I added AD roles and it all went on fine. So after which, i need to promote it to be the Domain Controller. All steps went on fine until the last prerequisite check. I received this error. I've followed and done all the steps that are available online for a smooth adding of AD roles and promote to PDC.
