Hi to all,

I'm installing Windows 2008 R2 x64 with 32GB ram, and I have doubts about page file, size and where tu put it.

We are in the design phase and  we don't know wich will be the real workload os these machines, their roles are Domain Controller, with DNS service.

I have two questions:

1. What is the best place for page file? System partition C: or a dedicated paritition P:, recently I have readed that for X64 version is better to put it in System partition.

2. How can calculate the future page file size? Automatic, 32gb, or 1.5 * RAM?

My server have a RAID 1 146GB for System, and page file, ctive directory.

My inital idea:
System partition c: 50GB
Active Directory partition E: 30 GB
Pagefile partition d: 50GB
