I have WDS set up on Windows Server 2012 (not R2) alongside of MDT 2013, which works well. I can deploy images in an unattended mode without a peep from the client. Deployments to my target hardware complete semi-successfully. There are no error messages, but the computers do not join the domain, even though WDS creates an account for it. The reason why the domain isn't joined is because there is no network connection. No drivers are installed with the install image. I have my drivers set up like they are in MDT, in groups according to target computer hardware model. I have two filters on each group that identify manufacturer and model. The default "DriverGroup1" has been removed. Why aren't the drivers getting installed? Better yet, where can I look to see why they are not getting installed? The Event Viewer on the WDS server doesn't show that information.
