I am having an issue trying to get my boot disk to work for WDS. At my site we are not allowed to use PXE everywhere so I have created bootable USB drives and an ISO for techs to use out in the field. Sometimes they work fine and at other times they don't. It could be the next reboot on the same computer on the same network connection.
I opened a command prompt and looked at the logs in the windows\panther directory. I can ping the WDS server.
I see this error:
Failed to discover WDS server, error 10049
Has anyone seen this before and can help me?
