Hello Professionals,
Hope you can help me out :-)
The issue is: No response from Windows Deployment Server
Background information:
We have a Windows Deployment Server, a AD/DNS/DHCP Server and some WiFi equipment (more about that later).
1 Server: AD/DNS/DHCP (2008)
1 Server: DNS/WDS (2012r2)
4 Cisco 3560G 48 Ports (in default VLAN 1)
6 Unifi AP's
0. It has worked before.
1. We moved from Netgear Prosafe to Cisco 3560G Managed Switches.
2. Since then only on a rare occasion the PXE Boot works. When you break of the process it's not possible anymore.
3. According to some forums you need to mount the boot image of the WDS server, commit and unmount it for it to work. (this works in off hours)
4. PXE Boot works with the WDS Server on off hours, but not during production.
Possible cause is: The Wifi Access Points are very busy with broadcasts causing the PXE Client to not get acknowledge signals back in time.
My Question: How do I solve this issue?
Love to hear from you Guy's!
