Hi. Recently, I acquired a HP Proliant DL360 from a friend after he got it from a company who was upgrading their hardware. I don't know who the company's IT staff were, but they did a good job of securing the thing. After you reach the login screen, the only things you can do are log in (guest account locked, admin password's a mystery) and enable an on-screen keyboard. I've tried several password recovery tools to go after the admin password, but no luck. I even used iSunshare's advanced trial to make a user, but he doesn't have privileges to make or edit accounts. Trying things via command prompt results in the message that I need elevated privileges, and my linux live USBs not only fail to load a gui, but also cannot seem to find the 2 hard drives the server has, much less mount them. Does anyone know how to help me get administrator privileges so that I can set the server up? I'm usually good at google-fu, but it's failed me today.
