We are attempting to do a client side refresh in 4 places (Windows 2008 and Windows 2012 servers) these 4 clients have a mixed Windows 08 and Windows 12 servers. In addition both have a mixture of Dell and IBM Windows 7 Pro and Windows 8.1 Pro desktops.
The total comes out to about 310 PCs. The software and printers at each location is customized per department.
Can anyone suggest a way to deploy multiple PCs at the sites without setting up SC, WIM images, or another server? We are trying to avoid sitting at each PC for 1 hour. I was considering naming each PC in the initial setup. From there a bunch of PCs (accounting dept. for example) would have a same setup before moving to the next bunch (marketing for example).
After the project we want to walk out of there without changing any group policies, removing any deployment solutions placed on the server, or something to that nature; since this is a one time project.
