Good afternoon,
We are attempting to install a custom wim to many PC's over our campus. I am able to get the image to install via WinPE command prompt but this creates a lot of post work on my end.. I have created a Autounattend file and placed it in the image but this seems to not be correct.. The xml is ignored and the install goes on if it were not there. I have also attempted to export the files from the Win7 cd and replace the boot.wim with our current custom wim however with our custom being 25 gig there is no way to run it.. If I try to run the same .exe from a command prompt it says the file does not match the os version.. I would assume this is coming from the WinPE that I am using..
Would anyone happen to know how to deploy a custom .wim using autounattend.xml with success from imagex or without using the Windows OS .exe file??
